Antwerp’s Placebo

What is Antwerp’s Placebo?

If you guessed a Grateful Dead track off the album “Go to Heaven” called “Antwerp’s Placebo (The Plumber)”, then that is one true, valid answer. However, there is another answer that is more relevant to this website.

“Antwerp’s Placebo” (The Band) is the combined talents of four musicians from local Jambands known for covering music by The Grateful Dead.

Left to Right:
Eric Costa
– Keyboard/Vocals (Pearly Baker, My Friends, Colonel Mustard)
Pete Silvia
– Bass/Vocals (Violin River)
Joe Pennacchio – Guitar/Vocals (Dupree’s Diamonds, Jazz Oddity)
Dave Saraiva – Drums (Colonel Mustard, Viper, Jazz Oddity)

Born out of Joe & Dave’s “Dead Jams Down the Barn” series, we have so much fun playing together we decided to give it a name.

The only placebo that really affects your mind (and gets you dancing)
